ABSTRACT
In economies where the market regulates productive activity through price, information plays a very important role. Therefore, the objective of the work is to analyze and compare the relevant market reports of BCR, INTA, Margenes Agropecuarios Journal, prices of future price contracts according to the forecast prices of agricultural products between sowing to harvest. An analysis of the market reports of the BCR, INTA, USDA, Margenes Agropecuarios Journal analyzed for the years 1998, 1999, 2000, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. The predictive capacity of agricultural market reports was different according to the type of crop. There are differences according to the type of market report for the case of maize but not for soy or wheat. That is to say, for these two crops, the information provided by each market report on the future evolution of prices is indistinct.
